• Objective: Suppose that you are contacted by the General Manager of an NBA team. Not knowing much about analytics, they suggest to you that they would like to use the data below to improve their team.

  • Due: In-class on Thursday, January 24
• A one page PDF summary of results.
  • May be two pages if graphics are included.
  • Assume your audience is the data provider.
  • Due: 11:59 PM, January 25
• An R Markdown file for reproducing your analysis.
  • Do not include all analyses considered, only those leading to your presented results.
  • Does not to be a well written narrative report, but should be sufficiently annotated such that the reader understands what analyses are being performed and why.
  • Assume a statistican / data scientist is your audience.

Grading

Grading for this project will be based on completion. One of the only ways to lose points will be to not turn in a deliverable on time.
